Patricia Ann “Pat” Kingery, 75, of rural Oblong passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 4:48 a.m. at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL.

Born on April 11, 1938, Pat was the daughter of Oscar Meeks and Joan (Piercefield) Meeks. On October 2, 1957, Pat married Victor L. Kingery and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2013.  Pat was an employee of Victor Dana from 1967 to 1992, retiring in 1992 after 25 years as an operator.  She attended Berlin Congregational Church rural Oblong, IL.; and enjoyed NASCAR racing, especially #24 Jeff Gordon.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Debbie Sheridan, Willow Hill, IL.; two granddaughters, Jessica Barbare, Florida; Jennifer Sherdian, Willow Hill, IL; a great-granddaughter, Olivia Gonzalez, Willow Hill, IL; four sisters and brothers-in-laws Kathryn and Ron McCord, Beatrice and Robert Abernathy, Carol and Wayne Wolf, Sandra LaGrande and Jeff Shel, all of Robinson, IL; six brothers and sisters-in-laws Richard and Sandy Meeks, Oblong, IL.; Donnie Meeks, Grand Junction, CO; Gary Meeks, New Hebron, IL.; Chuck and Jenny Meeks, Oblong, IL.; Leonard and Rose Meeks, Robinson, IL.; and Robert “Bobby” Meeks, Kansas City, MO.; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Proceeding Pat in death were her parents; her husband on August 19, 2013; her son, Gregory “Greg” Kingery on May 5, 2013; three brothers, Russell James, Larry Gene, and Ronnie Meeks; four sisters, Evelyn Meeks, Cheryl Ann Meeks, Marilyn Smith and Janet Myers.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at the Hardinville Cemetery, rural Oblong, IL.
